My 200-hr Journey Begins

Being serenaded by Michael Bublé while sipping a glass of pinot is a great ending to a yoga-filled weekend. I’m totally chill.

I’m new to this blogging thing and have no idea what a “widget” is or how to link my “gravatar”. It all sounds cool, and once I get it just as I want it, I’m sure it will look cool. But for now, I’ll just write. I’ve been inspired by others to blog my journey ~ my quest in yoga ~ to share with you my thoughts and ideas and, perhaps, a few personal revelations along the way.

I am currently seeking my 200-hour yoga teacher certification. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but recently found the time and money to go for it. I could go on and on about why I love yoga, but let me just say “I LOVE YOGA”. I met some awesome people this weekend ~ my fellow yogis ~ and learned more about yoga and myself in 2 days than I have in a long time. And for the next 9 months, I will be spending one weekend a month with these awesome people, absorbing, soaking up everything I can while on the mat.

So today, I wish you peace, patience, and perseverance in all of your activities. And hopefully I’ll be back to binocularity soon!

Namaste.

  1. im so glad youre doing what youve always wanted, not everybody gets to do that. you’ll be a great instructor. btw, i love Buble!! i used to go to a yoga class on friday night that played nothing but music like that, Harry Connick Jr, Luther Van Dross etc. LOVED IT. well, just wanted to say good luck to you. Are you still planning on playing Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre?? haha just kidding.

  2. What a wonderful metaphor! I think most people run around this world with a blurry eye–and you are getting awareness to see it. Hope I can take a yoga class with you, or from you, someday! 🙂

  3. I see you are finding your way Sabrie, and it sounds like yoga training came into your path at a perfect time in your life. I LOVE the dandelion metaphor!!! I too love dandelions. Sounds like things are coming together for you. Good luck along your way!! 🙂
